The ubiquitin system: Biology, mechanisms and roles in disease
13 – 17 September 2019 | Cavtat, Croatia
UBIRed groups (Rivas, Lecona, Barrio) participated with posters and oral presentations in the EMBO Workshop “The ubiquitin system: Biology, mechanisms and roles in disease”. This meeting gathered many of the leaders in the ubiquitin system, with participation of groups from around the globe. The presentations ranged a variety of topics that are at the forefront of the research in the field: ubiquitination studies in bacteria; ubiquitin conjugation and UbL pathways; protein disposal and cellular organization; ribosomes, aging, disease and protein quality control; signaling and chromatin-related processes; E3 ligases and therapeutics. Discussions were held in a open atmosphere.
